Founder and Director; Senior Advisor
Don brings a refreshingly simple approach to financial and marketing analysis, setting benchmarks for client cashflow, growth, business value, management, and transaction success. Don has over 30 years’ experience in accounting, corporate, consulting, and start-up/growth companies. He is an FCPA, specialist in Management Accounting, and a former Queensland Deputy President of CPA Australia. Don has also held public company directorships and is a major investor and Chairman in EGE Investments. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Don training for off-grid kayaking, biking, or trekking adventures.
Senior Business Advisor
Head of the digital marketing side of BUSINESSNAV. Thomas has been involved in building and running commerce websites since 1999 and has been developing and running companies across Australia, Hong Kong and The Philippines in the online space since 2003. That’s over 20 years of expert business experience.
Tom is currently operating in our Sydney digital agency, and in his free time, loves to enjoy a frosty beer or go for an early morning row.
Head of People & Culture
Frith is the head of People and Culture at BUSINESSNAV. Her career in people management has spanned 27 years with experience in both corporate and small business environments. Frith successfully built a nationally recognised brand in experience travel, GirlsTrek (www.girlstrek.com.au), and manages her generational family business’s commercial operations.
She is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and currently chairs a board of a private Property Development company (www.gardenervaughangroup.com.au).
Senior Financial Analyst
Nick is a Senior Financial Analyst at BUSINESSNAV. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and holds a bachelors degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from the University of Queensland. Nick has held multiple positions spanning different accounting and finance fields and brings a diverse skillset to BUSINESSNAV’s FPM and M&A engagements.
Outside of work, you will often find Nick at Suncorp Stadium as he is a fan of all things sport. Or, he will be down at his favourite local café enjoying a weekend coffee with his friends and family.
Business Development Manager
Rich Evans has had a long career in the creative industries. Starting his career as a graphic designer in 1991, he worked through the print industry before becoming one of the pioneers of the early internet industry in Australia.
He built and ran an online development business from 1999 – 2009, counting many iconic household name brands as clients.
He is a published author, consultant and speaker across the digital marketing and business development fields.
More recently he has delved into #proptech with his business PIPR, is the founder of a regional media business and has taken his community and property development interest to a new level with a old industrial site reactivation project in Central West NSW.
He is a current Board member of Regional Development Australia – Central West, and an advocate for mental health in the regions.
Rich’s long association with the Businessnav team brings a world of experience and leadership in design thinking, branding and digital design to ensure our team is at the forefront of digital innovation.
Michele is the Operations Manager of BUSINESSNAV. Since graduating from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), Michele has honed her technical marketing and operations management skills across Government, agency and consultancy. Michele is a dynamic and solutions-focused team player with an eye for details others would usually glance over. Michele’s innate understanding and conceptualising of project management is an asset to the team, providing strategic direction to achieve client goals.
Outside of work, you’ll find Michele cuddled up with her two Labrador’s or grabbing a coffee in her keep cup after her reformer Pilates class.
Iain is a highly resourceful, flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic Agile Project Manager. Iain has experience in managing large-scale software and Web application projects from beginning to end. Coupled with the experience of the full project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment, and closure, makes Iain and all-round tech expert.
Digital Marketing Manager
Thomas brings a wide range of skills and experience to the team with a history of managing digital marketing, traditional marketing, e-commerce and graphic design for various companies. Thomas has a passion for all things digital and specialises in PPC, SEM and running digital marketing campaigns.
Away from work, you are likely to find Tom playing basketball, watching rugby league, or playing video games with friends.
Natalia is the Financial Analyst at BUSINESSNAV. Natalia specialises in cash flow projections, solutions to complex reconciliations, and the control of multi-software finance profiles. She has a Master of Professional Accounting Degree, over 13 years of experience working in accounting and finance, and coming originally from Siberia – doesn’t take any bull! Natalia is deeply passionate about accuracy and finding practical solutions through technology.
Outside of work, Natalia will most likely be at the gym, playing chess, or painting away.
Luke is a Junior Financial Analyst at BUSINESSNAV. He completed his Bachelor of Business/IT at QUT and went on to complete a Master of Business, majoring in Applied Finance. Luke brings a passion for financial valuation, data analysis and systems development to BUSINESSNAV’s FPM and M&A engagements.
Outside of work, Luke is an avid beer brewer and explorer, so you’ll likely find him at local craft breweries with his greyhound Goober
Human Resource Coordinator
Kristina is a Human Resource Coordinator at BUSINESSNAV. She has completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and went on to do a Masters degree in Business (HR) at QUT. Kristina maximises the efficiency of policies and procedures, as well as being responsible for the recruitment process.
Outside of work Kristina enjoys traveling and is kept busy by her three little girls.
Outside of work, Cintia loves travelling and tries to take a trip every season. She also loves hanging out with her friends.
Corey recently graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and International Business. Within his short time at BUSINESSNAV, Corey has already created multiple intricate EDM campaigns, managed client’s various social channels, assisted in website development and has executed SEO strategies to suit client needs.
Corey loves surfing and camping, so most weekends he’ll be up at the Sunshine Coast, bright and early for that 5 am dawn patrol.
Assistant Marketing Coordinator
Sofie is currently studying a Bachelor of Business and Creative Industries, majoring in Marketing and Media/Communication at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Sofie has written blogs, managed social media channels and produced an array of content for various clients.
When Sofie is not in the office or writing assignments, she enjoys spending time at the beach and visiting her local markets.
Jenny has been a BUSINESSNAV Business Analyst since 2013 and delivers Accounts Processing for associated companies and clients. She has a Bachelor of Business Degree major in Finance, Management and Accounting, over 17 years of experience working in different financial Intermediaries (Banking, Accounting and Finance). One of Jenny’s mantra is to always remain calm in whatever situation because only by being calm, you will understand and learn to appreciate everything that comes with it.
When she pares herself away from the desk, you’ll find Jenny trekking a mountain somewhere, or visiting her family in Mindanao.
