The Process

Book session date – ensure all your management team are invited and attend
- CEO/Owners are interviewed - confirm objectives of the day
- You provide Financials - Last Year’s and Current Year’s
Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet data + 2 year Budget Forecast (if
available) prior to session
- Conduct Planning Session – depending on the size and complexity of the business this takes 1 or 2 days
a. Do CashflowNAV calculation on your business and 2 competitors
b. Identify where you are leaking cash and set targets
c. Identify how much cash you need to grow
d. Identify long term actions to reach growth targets, including
setting new CashflowNAV Factors and a MarketNAV marketing matrix
e. If you are a subscriber to BusinessNAV you use the online Scenario Tool to forecast your Budget
f. We provide a Strategic Plan Template (optional) – for managers to easily document outcomes from the session and track performance
You will identify who will co-ordinate the simple Plan documentation
Book next meeting for the review and signoff (if appropriate) of the Plan
The CEO/Owner is accountable for the Plan
We keep the Plan simple and measurable and therefore easy to implement
by all in the business. Everyone in management contributes to the
content of the plan.
